The water in the beach scene follows predicted tides from NOAA CO-OPS (tide predictions for Pago Pago, American Samoa, station 1770000).
I'm not affiliated with NOAA and they don't endorse this site. I don't use any NOAA logos.
These are predictions of the astronomical tide only, not live readings. Wind, waves, rain and weather can make the real water different. They are not for navigation, fishing, swimming or any safety decision. For official tide predictions, go to tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov.
NOAA doesn't publish a tide table for Afao itself, so the timing and height you see in the scene is my own approximation based on the Pago Pago predictions. It is not official NOAA data.
